No one else involved in GC deaths: police

Police are preparing a report for the coroner after confirming the deaths of a former Gold Coast bikie and his ex-girlfriend didn't involve a third person.

Police are finalising their investigations into the deaths of an ex-bikie and his former girlfriend on the Gold Coast as they prepare a report for the coroner.

Bronson Ellery, known to police as "Lizard Man" for his prominent facial tattoos, and Shelsea Schilling were discovered dead in a Southport unit on Friday.

Despite initial media reports the pair had been murdered, police on Tuesday said they didn't believe their was anyone else involved in the deaths.

Police haven't confirmed whether a note found at the scene was a suicide note, but said it had helped them in their investigations.

Autopsies on the pair have been completed and police are analysing them to determine causes of death.
