No timing on Bali duo transfer: Bishop

I have not given up hope of saving Chan and Sukumaran, Julie Bishop says.

Foreign Minister Julie Bishop says the government has not yet been told when Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran will be transferred from Bali for their execution.

Indonesian officials say the transfer is imminent, possibly this week.

"We understand that the family will be informed of the time frame, and we haven't yet received any notification at all of any particular timing," Ms Bishop told reporters in Canberra.

"I have not given up hope, and I will continue to do all I can to ensure that these two men ... receive a stay of execution."
