Now 49 compilation thaws top of US charts

The latest Now compilation has ended Frozen's run at the top of the US album charts.

The latest Now compilation has ended the big freeze at the top of the US album charts - the Frozen soundtrack is no longer number one.

The Now 49 hits collection takes over almost 15 years to the day since the first ever compilation first entered the top 10 in January, 1999.

The Frozen soundtrack slides to two after a four-week reign atop the Billboard 200.

Bruno Mars gets a boost from his Super Bowl performance as his Unorthodox Jukebox climbs back into the top at three, while debuts from Toni Braxton & Babyface (Love, Marriage & Divorce), Broken Bells (After the Disco) and Little Mix (Salute) enter the top 10 at four, five and six, respectively.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry's Dark Horse claims a third week at number one on the Hot 100 as Pharrell Williams' Happy leaps up six spots to two and Jason Derulo's Talk Dirty rounds out the new top three.
