The NRL's crackdown on players attacking the legs of kickers has continued with Gold Coast forward Moeaki Fotuaika facing a one game ban for contact on Warriors halfback Blake Green.

Fotuaika was on Saturday charged with a grade-one dangerous contact offence, and will miss next Saturday's clash with South Sydney unless he can beat the charge at the judiciary.

Green stayed down after the late hit but was able to play on, however Fotuaika's sanction comes after both Matt Lodge and Addin Fonua-Blake were suspended for similar incidents earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Warriors utility Jazz Tevaga is also facing a one game ban for his dangerous contact on Titans prop Shannon Boyd.
