NRL grand final factbox

Here are the stats that matter ahead of North Queensland's NRL grand final clash with Brisbane at ANZ Stadium on Sunday.

GOING TROPPO - STATS AHEAD OF FIRST ALL QUEENSLAND NRL GRAND FINAL BETWEEN BRISBANE AND COWBOYS

- It is just the second NRL grand final not to involve a NSW team (in 2006 Brisbane beat Melbourne 15-8)

- Six time premiers Brisbane (6-0 in grand finals) tackle a Cowboys outfit facing their second grand final and first since 2005 (lost 30-16 to Wests Tigers)

- North Queensland lost their opening finals clash 16-12 to Brisbane; the last team to lose their first finals match and win the premiership was the Broncos in 2006 (no team has lost a finals match but reversed the result against the same opponent in the grand final since Melbourne against St George Illawarra in 1999)

- The Cowboys have been the best finishers in the league, scoring 252 points in the final 20 minutes of their matches - 65 more than the next best team, the Roosters (187)
