An inquest says poor building design contributed to the deaths of 11 residents in a Sydney nursing home fire.

Angry relatives of the 11 people who died in a fire at a Sydney nursing home say the company should take responsibility for the blaze.

 

An inquest has found attempts to save the lives of the residents of were hampered by the poor design of the building.

 

Representatives of the home, who changed its name from Domain Principal Group to Opal Aged Care, were not in court.
