NSW man charged after girlfriend's death

A young woman is dead and her boyfriend has been charged with murder at Brewarrina in NSW's northwest.

A man has been charged with murdering his girlfriend in an alleged domestic violence incident in NSW's northwest.

Emergency services called to a Brewarrina home on Saturday were unable to save an 18-year-old woman with serious injuries.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene and later charged with murder.

He was also wanted on three outstanding warrants.

He was refused bail and will appear in Bourke Local Court on Monday.
