NSW man charged with attempt to kill teen

A NSW man has been charged with soliciting the murder of a 15-year-old girl from the state's south coast.

A 61-year-old man has been charged with trying to hire a hitman to murder a 15-year-old girl from the NSW south coast.

Police arrested the man at a government facility in Silverwater following a search at another government facility in Malabar.

The man is set to appear at Central Local Court on Wednesday charged with solicit to murder.
