NSW man facing murder charges

A man will face a murder charge when he appears in Griffith Local Court, following the discovery of a woman's body at a unit in the southwestern NSW town.

A man has been charged with murder following the discovery of a woman's body in southwestern NSW last month.

The 47-year-old woman was found dead at a unit in Griffith on Friday, after her family raised concerns.

A 30-year-old Griffith man was arrested about on Wednesday morning and he was later charged with murder.

He has been refused bail to appear at Griffith Local Court on Thursday.
