NSW train booking website hacked

NSW TrainLink customers have been asked to remain vigilant for requests for personal information after the company's database was hacked.

NSW TrainLink has shut down its online reservation system after bookings were hacked.

The organisation says the database does not include credit card information, but investigators are working to determine if any customers' personal information has been accessed.

Police and cyber emergency specialists are working to determine what has been accessed, and have urged customers to be vigilant for unsolicited information requests.
