New home ownership incentives in the Northern Territory are the most generous in the country, according to the NT government.
First home owners will get up to up to $50,601 including for whitegoods for a new home while there are a range of cash incentives for people to move to the NT, used to live or own a home there or are recently divorced.
The Territory Home Owner Bonus will create local construction jobs, build the population and support first home owners, said Chief Minister Michael Gunner who is dealing with a struggling economy.
