NT police officer suspended

Northern Territory police have suspended an officer following an assault-related charge.

A Northern Territory police officer has been suspended from duty after being charged with an assault-related offence.

The 43-year-old officer has been charged with one count of serious harm and has been bailed to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on April 8.

NT police released the information under its transparency guidelines.
