US President Barack Obama says he's positive about the future of the G20.
President Obama, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and other G20 leaders have wrapped up their talks on Monday in the eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou.
The US leader, who is attending his 10th and final G20, said this year's summit came in turbulent times where a lot of countries were seeing "volatile politics".
"You can get discouraged about whether the international community and leadership are able to shape solutions fast enough for the scale of the problems - whether it's migrants and refugees or climate change or terrorism or making sure the international economy is working for everybody.
"But looking back over the course of the last eight years you see things have gotten better."

He said the financial system was sturdier.
"As always I like to see more get done, but I'm cautiously optimistic about the progress we made.
"If it's better than before we started, we'll take it."
