The tryst between two colleagues at the Christchurch office of insurance firm Marsh Ltd went viral after the pair left the lights on during their hour-long frolic on Friday night.

The pair, which the New Zealand Herald has reported as a married man and a recently engaged woman, were photographed and filmed by punters at the Carlton Bar and Eatery across the road from the Papanui Road office.
The wife of the man, reportedly a senior insurance manager, is believed to have learnt about the affair on social media.

The workers have reportedly been identified by their superiors, who have launched an investigation.

“Marsh is very disappointed by the conduct of two colleagues at our Christchurch premises,” a statement provided to 3 News reads.

“The inappropriate actions of these two individuals are not representative of the many professional colleagues that we have at Marsh.”
