A female police officer will face court this week following a neighbourhood dispute in the Hunter.

A female police officer will face court this week following a neighbourhood dispute in the Hunter. (AAP)

A female senior constable is currently suspended without pay and will face court this week after a dispute in the Hunter.

The officer has been charged with stalking, trespass and resisting police after an incident last weekend, as well as breaching a personal violence order on Friday.

She has been granted conditional bail and will appear in Singleton Local Court on Thursday.
