Former Australian Open junior champion Oliver Anderson is free to resume his career after admitting a match-fixing offence.

The 20-year-old from Brisbane has served a provisional suspension since February 2017 and no further punishment has been imposed.

The case was adjudicated by independent anti-corruption hearing officer Professor Richard McLaren, following an investigation by the Tennis Integrity Unit (TIU).

Anderson admitted deliberately losing the first set of a match at the Latrobe City Challenger tournament in Australia in October 2016.

The TIU statement read: "Although he went on to win the match and received no financial benefit, his conduct was in breach of the sport's Tennis Anti-Corruption Program (TACP)."

Anderson made his professional debut aged 14 and a bright future was predicted when he won the junior title at Melbourne Park in 2016, beating Jurabek Karimov in the final.

He reached a career-high ranking of 639 in July 2016.
