One dead in Sydney home invasion

One person is dead and another injured following a reported home invasion on a house in Sydney this morning.

One person is dead and another injured following a reported home invasion on a house in Sydney this morning.

Police were called to the home in Badgerys Creek around 4am following the attack, which left her husband dead.

Emergency services arrived to find the body of a man, believed to be aged in his late 60s.
The woman suffered head injuries and has been taken to Liverpool Hospital.

A crime scene has been established at the home on Elizabeth's Drive and detectives from Green Valley Local Area Command are investigating, assisted by the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad.
