One dead, three injured in Moss Vale crash

A 79-year-old woman has died after a head-on crash at Moss Vale in the NSW Southern Highlands.

An elderly woman has died and three people are injured after a two-car head-on collision in the NSW Southern Highlands.

The 79-year-old woman was a passenger in the back of a Toyota when it crashed with a Mercedes in Moss Vale on Tuesday afternoon, closing Nowra Road for six hours, police said.

The 68-year-old man who was driving the Mercedes suffered serious injuries while the 57-year-old man driving the Toyota and his front-seat woman passenger, 71, were treated for minor injuries. All three were taken to Liverpool Hospital.
