One Nation promises almost $10b in savings

One Nation has vowed to deliver almost $10 billion in savings to the Queensland budget.

One Nation has identified almost $10 billion in budget savings that could help fund its election promises, if the party wins the balance of power at this weekend's poll.

State leader Steve Dickson released his party's proposed savings in a light-on-detail document on Thursday, which included diverting $5.4 billion away from Cross River Rail and $1 billion in savings by axing the state's renewable energy program.

One Nation also proposed to reform procurement for government contracts by going to market rather than using preferred provider panels, for a saving of $3 billion.
