The man behind the fatal one-punch attack on teenager Thomas Kelly has been moved to a maximum security jail after he allegedly had an affair with a prison officer.
Kieran Loveridge, 21, was sentenced to at least 10 years and two months in jail for Mr Kelly's manslaughter at Kings Cross in 2012.
Days after it emerged he allegedly assaulted a fellow inmate, Loveridge has been accused of having an "improper relationship" with a correctional officer.
A Corrective Services NSW spokesman said the female officer had been suspended from duty at the Mid North Coast Correctional Centre "after it was learned she had allegedly commenced an improper relationship with an inmate.".
"Corrective Services NSW is continuing its investigation into the matter."
Loveridge has been relocated to Goulburn Supermax prison.
Earlier this week Macquarie Radio host Ray Hadley revealed Loveridge had allegedly stomped on the head of a fellow prisoner.
In response to the report, the corrective services spokesman confirmed two inmates had allegedly assaulted a third inmate in a jail cell.
The inmates were segregated following the assault on March 10.
Loveridge is in jail for punching Mr Kelly once in the back of the head, leaving him with catastrophic head injuries in July 2012.
Mr Kelly's life-support was turned off two days later.
Loveridge also carried out a string of other drunken assaults on the same night.
The NSW Court of Criminal Appeal increased his sentence to at least five years' behind bars for the assaults to a minimum of 10 years and two months in jail.
Mr Kelly's parents have become outspoken advocates for action to curb alcohol fuelled violence following their son's death.
