Australia have qualified for the women's basketball World Cup next year after smashing North Korea to reach the semi-finals of the Asia Cup.
The Opals were led by Alanna Smith in the 81-48 quarter-final victory in India, with the US college star top scoring with 20 points and nine rebounds on Thursday.
World No.4 Australia had earlier progressed through the group stage after wins over South Korea, the Philippines and fellow Rio Olympics quarter-finalists Japan.
The Opals will face South Korea, ranked 15 in the world, on Friday for a place in Saturday's final.
The top-four teams at the Asia Cup gain automatic qualification for the World Cup in Spain in September 2018.
