Origin lifts output 8% in Sept qtr

Origin Energy's output has lifted eight per cent and revenue 32 per cent to $429.7 million in the September quarter.

Origin Energy has lifted production eight per cent and revenue by 32 per cent in the September quarter, compared to the previous three months, on the back of solid output from its Australia Pacific LNG unit.

Production of 74.2 petajoules equivalent was a 55 per cent rise on the September quarter of 2015, while revenue of $429.7 million was a 91 per cent lift on the same period last year.

Chief executive of integrated gas David Baldwin said: "Origin's strong growth in production and sales during the September quarter can be attributed to the sustained performance of Australia Pacific LNG".
