Australia's Wade Ormsby is one shot off the lead at the halfway stage of the KLM Open in The Netherlands.

The South Australian trails Denmark's Soren Kjeldsen after carding a 68 having shot a career-best 61 in the opening round at the Kennemer Golf and Country Club in Zandvoort.

He shares second spot on the leaderboard with England's David Horsey.

Kjeldsen shot 64 to take the lead with a 12-under 128 thanks to a bogey-free round on another day of low scoring at the par-70 course.
