The charred metal frames of more than 50 scooters and one car stood outside Montparnasse train station in central Paris after they were destroyed in a fire.
The fire, which broke out early Saturday morning near the high-end Hotel Pullman, consumed some 52 scooters parked outside the station, media reports said.
Twenty-one firefighters and six fire engines were deployed to put out the blaze, Le Parisien newspaper reported.
Images from the scene showed rows of tangled handlebars and charred exhaust pipes.
Police in the capital were investigating how the blaze started, the report said.
