Oz Comic-Con lands in Brisbane

Fantasy fans will be able to hear from some of their favourite actors and industry professionals when Oz Comic-Con comes to Brisbane on Saturday.

Brisbane's sci-fi and fantasy fans will get their fix when Oz Comic-Con rolls into town on Saturday.

Queensland fans will have the chance to see actors from TV shows such as Stargate, Supernatural, Charmed and Vikings.

A cosplay parade will be held in the afternoon before Luna Lovegood herself - Evanna Lynch - takes part in a Harry Potter-themed session.

Amateur comic book artists will also be able learn about fantasy illustration, while aspirational voice actors can pick up tips from professionals.

The event is being held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and runs over the weekend.
