Oz Minerals launches strategic review

Oz Minerals has launched a strategic review of its operations after beating its 2014 production guidance for both gold and copper

Oz Minerals has beaten its full year production guidance and launched a strategic review of its operations.

The review, which will look at ways to cut costs and find future opportunities, was announced alongside a new partnership with the South Australian government to develop further extraction possibilities at Oz Minerals projects.

The company has produced more than 148,000 ounces of gold in 2014, which was ahead of the company's 130,000 to 140,000 target range, and more than 92,000 tonnes of copper, which beat its 85,000 to 90,000 target.
