Package at Perth bank deemed safe

A suspicious package at a bank in an inner-Perth suburb has been inspected by the bomb squad and contained nothing of concern, police say.

The package raised alarm at the National Australia Bank on Albany Highway in Victoria Park on Wednesday afternoon, prompting police to cordon off the area.
