Billionaire James Packer is dating US singer Mariah Carey, according to a celebrity gossip website.

TMZ has posted a photo of a smiling Packer and Carey holding hands and says the picture was taken in Capri, Italy, on Friday.

The website says the couple are staying on the gambling mogul's yacht and are enjoying an "extended vacation".
