Pakistan were 3-251 at tea on the second day of the first Test in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, leading by 47 runs on Sri Lanka's first innings total of 204.

Experienced batsmen Younis Khan was batting on 103 - his 23rd Test century - while skipper Misbah-ul Haq was 74 not out as the two added 168 for the unbroken fourth wicket stand.

Pakistan lost Mohammad Hafeez (11) and Ahmed Shehzad (38) before lunch.

Suranga Lakmal and Shaminda Eranga took one wicket apiece.
