Pakistan duo doubtful for NZ clash

Pakistan pair Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Hafeez are doubtful for Tuesday's key World T20 clash with New Zealand due to injury.

Pakistan fast bowler Wahab Riaz and batsman Mohammad Hafeez are doubtful starters for Thursday's key World Twenty20 match against unbeaten New Zealand on Tuesday.

Left-armer Riaz was hit on the head by a ball during a training session on Monday while Hafeez has pain in the right knee.

The Pakistan Cricket Board said confirmed Riaz was hospitalised and later given the all-clear and his fitness will be assessed on Tuesday.

Hafeez had complained of knee pain for the last two days and the PCB said it was unlikely he'll take part in the match against the Black Caps."

Pakistan has two points from two matches in Group 2.
