Pakistan to host NZ in Test cricket series

Pakistan will host New Zealand in a Test cricket series in November, which is the first time they have done so since 2002.

Pakistan will host New Zealand in a Test cricket series for the first time in 12 years in November.

Pakistan announced on Wednesday a tour in the United Arab Emirates including three Tests, five one-day internationals and one Twenty20.

New Zealand last met Pakistan away in 2002, and has since hosted Pakistan in 2003, 2009 and 2011.

New Zealand last won a Test series against Pakistan in 1985, and not away from home since 1969.

The series begins with the first Test at Abu Dhabi on November 11, followed by Tests at Dubai and Sharjah.

Dubai will host the T20 on December 5 and the first ODI. Sharjah and Abu Dhabi will organise the remaining ODIs, which end on December 19.
