Pakistan captain Azhar Ali has won the toss and opted to field against England in their fifth and final one-day international in Cardiff.
England, aiming to clean sweep Pakistan 5-0 in the series, made three changes on Sunday from the team that won the fourth ODI by four wickets at Headingley.
Liam Dawson, the 26-year-old Hampshire all-rounder was awarded his ODI debut and replaced Moeen Ali.
Chris Woakes and Mark Wood also returned in place of Liam Plunkett and Adil Rashid.
All-rounder Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Amir came back for Pakistan after sitting out at Headingley.
Malik replaced opening batsman Sami Aslam while Amir came in for Mohammad Irfan, who will be flying home after sustaining a calf injury during the fourth ODI, which also ruled him out for Wednesday's Twenty20 against England.
