The Newman government says it's not worried about Clive Palmer's threats to use parliamentary privilege to air corruption claims.
Soon after being declared the winner of the Sunshine Coast seat of Fairfax on Thursday, Mr Palmer warned his elevation to federal parliament should sound an "ominous warning" for the Newman government.
He said he believed there was corruption in the state government while admitting he didn't have conclusive evidence.
"But it is in the public interest and we'll put it out there in the political debate," he told ABC presenter Leigh Sales.
Treasurer Tim Nicholls on Friday said Mr Palmer had a history of making wild allegations against people.
"Mr Palmer has made a series of outrageous claims over a long period of time," he told ABC Radio.
"He's made accusations about me, the deputy premier and about the premier but he has always failed to produce one shred of evidence.
"No, we are not worried."
