Palmer to wait on special access request

There will be no court order about special access arrangements for Clive Palmer, who has accused the media of assaulting his wife Anna.

A Federal Court registrar says he won't make an order about special access for Clive Palmer, who has accused the press of assaulting his wife.

Registrar Murray Belcher says a bid by Mr Palmer's legal team to allow him and his supporters to arrive and leave from a court car park in the interests of personal safety, is best dealt with administratively.

Mr Palmer's lawyer said he would take the matter up through appropriate channels, and said Anna Palmer stayed away from court on Monday, despite wanting to be present to support her husband.
