Penrith have continued to spend salary cap money long-term after handing front-rower Moses Leota a contract extension until the end of the 2022 NRL season.
Leota had one more year remaining on his current deal but the Panthers on Wednesday announced they had added a further three years to his contract.
"Moses is one of the hardest-working young men I have encountered in all my time in rugby league," Panthers boss Phil Gould said.
"He is another success story emerging from the club's junior development pathways and he deserves everything he gets out of the game due to his unconditional commitment."
The Leota deal comes two weeks after the club thwarted off rivals by re-signing star halfback Nathan Cleary until the end of the 2024 season.

It means the club now has four players on their books for the next four years, including Reagan Campbell-Gillard, Viliame Kikau and Dean Whare.
The 23-year-old Leota, who has won an under-20s and reserve grade title with the club in previous years, believes the Panthers are ripe for a premiership in the near future.
"With the players and staff we have, I think we're in a strong position to push for a premiership. That's a big motivation for me," Leota said.
"This is the club that showed faith in me from the very beginning and now it's my time to give something back."
