Penrith hooker James Segeyaro has declared himself fit to face Melbourne in Monday night's NRL match just two days after it was feared he'd suffered a season-ending ankle injury.
The livewire No.9 left the field with a suspected broken ankle during Penrith's 23-22 win over his former team North Queensland.
But Segeyaro took to Twitter on Wednesday to deliver some great news for Penrith, who already have a huge injury list.
"Just wanted to say thank you for everyone that tweeted me regarding my ankle...all is well and I'll be ready for Monday night," Segeyaro said.
Third-placed Penrith host the Storm who sit two points outside the top four.
