At least five secondary schools have been evacuated in Paris due to a bomb threat, a spokesman for the city's school authority says.
Police bomb squads were searching the schools on Monday as students waited in courtyards and on the streets outside, Le Parisien reported, and some traffic was diverted.
French broadcasters reported that six schools were being searched, but a police spokesman declined to give details.
Paris has been under high alert due to a series of terrorist attacks that began in January 2015, and France has been in a state of emergency since the latest attacks in November.
