Tyrone Peachey has re-signed with Penrith in a deal that will keep the utility at the NRL club until at least the end of 2019.
The two-year contract caps off a breakout season for the 25-year-old after his successful transition to centre.
Peachey was called in at round 11 to fill a gap caused by the season-ending injuries to international pair Dean Whare and Peta Hiku, and stayed in the position since.
He was the club's second highest try-scorer with 13 in 24 matches for the Panthers this season.
"Whether I'm in the centres, or the forwards, I'm happy to play wherever Hook (Anthony Griffin) wants me to play," Peachey said.
Peachey, the newphew of retired star fullback David Peachey, joined the Panthers in 2014 after seven games in one season with the Sharks.
He was axed for disciplinary reasons mid-year, but finished the season strongly to star in the Panthers' elimination finals win over Canterbury in week one of the playoffs.
Panthers general manager Phil Gould said Peachey was integral for the club's future.
"His ability to play multiple positions extremely well, makes Tyrone a perfect candidate for representative teams," Gould said.
