You can't help who you fall in love with. This is the case for ten year old female penguin Sakura who has fallen in love with her caretaker, 40 year old Tsuyoshi Notsu.

According to Japanese news site Mainichi Daily News, Notsu has become the object of Sakura's affection ever since her partner Musashi died last October.

Despite being polar opposites, Sakura's apparently enchanted by Notsu's low voice and follows him around, striking courting and breeding poses, a routine not uncommon with animals and their caretakers.

Sakura and Notsu spend their days at Matsue Vogel Park in Japan, where Sakura lives and Notsu works.
