Super League club Hull have announced the signing of World Cup-winning forward Sika Manu.
The 28-year-old has agreed a three year deal with the Black and Whites and will move to England at the end of the season from NRL team Penrith.
Manu lifted the World Cup with New Zealand in 2008 while also winning the NRL with Melbourne in 2012, developing a reputation as a fearsome, all-action player.
"I'm really excited about a new start over in Super League and the move was what was best for me and my family," Manu said.
"I've always watched Super League growing up and enjoyed the physicality.
"I've played with a few of the boys who will be at Hull next year before and I'm looking forward to teaming up with them again."
Manu has more than 150 NRL appearances to his name and, having also captained Tonga, will bring a wealth of experience to the Hull's KC Stadium.
"His quality speaks for itself. He has 14 caps for New Zealand, is a World Cup winner and is a current Tonga international," Hull coach Lee Radford said.
"He will fit into our squad perfectly and he is a fantastic ball carrier with plenty more football in him.
"In defence, he will be massive in controlling the ruck and will help us improve with his energy and structurally.
"He came through at Melbourne in their hay-day and is now a senior player who everyone I have spoken to has had nothing but good words to say about."
Manu joins Mahe Fonua, Frank Pritchard, Scott Taylor and Carlos Tuimavave in joining Hull for next season.
