Perpetual lifts 1H profit 76%

Perpetual has recorded a 76 per cent increase in its first half profit and lifted its dividend to shareholders by 35 cents.

Fund manager Perpetual has lifted its dividend to shareholders after a 76 per cent increase in its half year profit.

Perpetual made a net profit of $58.6 million for the six months to December 31, up from $33.3 million a year ago.

It also lifted its fully franked interim dividend 35 cents to $1.15 per share.
