Personal finance down 1.1% in Dec

Official data shows personal finance loans fell 1.1 per cent in December.

Personal finance loans fell 1.1 per cent.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) on Friday said personal finance commitments, seasonally-adjusted, fell to $7.820 billion in December, from $7.903 billion in November.

Commercial loans rose 4.7 per cent to $39.318 billion, from $39.553 billion in November.

Housing finance for owner occupiers fell 1.5 per cent to $16.284 billion, from $16.533 billion the month before.
