A bushfire warning for residents in Perth's southern suburbs has been downgraded from a watch and act to an advice, with lives and homes no longer under threat.
The alert applies to people in the eastern part of Calista and western part of Parmelia in the City of Kwinana.
The fire began in bushland between Gilmore Road and Meares Road, and is now contained and under control.
The blaze has burnt 12.5 hectares.
Firefighters are currently strengthening containment lines and mopping up.
