Hundreds of people have been evacuated from Perth's domestic airport for the third time in three months because of a false alarm.

Terminals three and four were temporarily evacuated shortly after noon on Wednesday.

Perth Airport later tweeted there had been a false fire alarm, which also forced the evacuation of both terminals on June 8 and August 12.

In both instances, the alarms went off just after noon.
