Perth fight club promoted on social media

Police had to disperse about 100 people who met at an oval in Perth's northern suburbs for an organised fight promoted on Facebook.

Police have dispersed a mob of about 100 people who attended an organised fight in Perth's northern suburbs.

Officers were called to a recreation centre on Chesterfield Road in Mirrabooka on Tuesday evening after reports of people fighting.

The group moved from an oval to the car park of a nearby shopping centre where several fights broke out.

They were dispersed and one move on notice was issued to a 19-year-old man for disorderly behaviour in public.

Police say the event was promoted on Facebook.
