Peyroux pleads guilty to crusher tackle

Dominique Peyroux will sit out the Warriors' NRL season opener after pleading guilty to a grade-two dangerous contact charge following a crusher tackle.

Warriors utility Dominique Peyroux will miss the opening round of the NRL season after pleading guilty to a crusher tackle during his side's defeat by the Gold Coast in Sunday's trial match.

Peyroux was slugged with a grade-two dangerous contact charge by the match review committee on Wednesday and will now miss the Warriors' round-one clash with Parramatta on March 9.
