PGA Tour releases new schedule

A number of tournaments have been shifted for the 2014-15 PGA Tour schedule.

The PGA Tour has released its 2014-15 schedule with a few moving parts.

The Farmers Insurance Open has been moved back one week to February 5-8.

That allows the Phoenix Open to end on February 1, the same day as the Super Bowl in Phoenix.

And for the first time in 13 years, the West Coast Swing will end with the Northern Trust Open at Riviera.

The Match Play Championship moves from the end of February to the first weekend in May, right before The Players Championship.

The Wells Fargo Championship will be held after The Players.

Also, the Quicken Loans National hosted by Tiger Woods will move from late June to two weeks after the British Open, and right before the Bridgestone Invitational and the PGA Championship.
