Pilley, Cuskelly out of Cambridge Cup

Cameron Pilley and Ryan Cuskelly have been eliminated from the Cambridge Squash Cup in Ontario, beaten by Egyptians Karim Abdel Gawad and Tarek Momen.

Pilley, the world No.17, went down in four tight sets to Egypt's world No.2 Karim Abdel Gawad.

The Grafton-born star lost 11-9 11-9 10-12 12-10 in a close and tense encounter.

Also exiting the tournament was Lismore's Ryan Cuskelly.

Cuskelly, the world No.15, went down 11-9 11-9 11-9 to Egyptian world No.8 Tarek Momen.

The Australians were part of a select eight-man field invited to play in the elite competition.
