Investigations are continuing after two people died in a microlight plane crash in the NSW northern tablelands.

The 51-year-old pilot of the aircraft and a passenger, a 55-year-old Albion Park woman, died when the plane went down at a property off Nine Mile Road, north of Glen Innes, shortly before 10.30am on Sunday.

Both the pilot and passenger were pronounced dead at the scene, police say.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
