Plane wreckage found off SA coast

Plane wreckage has been discovered off South Australia's Kangaroo Island but there are no early indications it could be linked to missing flight MH370.

Australian transport officials are investigating the discovery of plane wreckage off the South Australian coast but there are no early indications it could be linked to missing Malaysian flight MH370.

The wreckage was discovered on Kangaroo Island and handed into South Australian police, and the Australian Transport Safety Bureau is investigating, a spokeswoman told AAP on Thursday.

The Malaysia Airlines jetliner disappeared on March 8, 2014 with 239 people on board, including six Australians.
